This year, we’re dialing it back even further — to give you atrue taste of history with our Pre-Prohibition Lager.
Clean, crisp, and boldly bitter, this lager pays tribute to one of America’s earliest craft styles. Originally brewed by German immigrants using native hops and grains, the style faded after Prohibition and was only revived by homebrewers decades later. We’ve brought it back with an Effingut twist. Bright gold with a lasting white head, it opens with grainy malt, a touch of corn sweetness, and a rustic, floral, citrusy hop aroma. Smooth, medium-bodied, and creamy, it finishes with a refreshing, lingering bitterness.
